The International Investment Forum of Mangystau region

The International Investment Forum of Mangystau region was held in the city of Nur-Sultan In the framework of the Astana Economic Forum, the Mangystau region together with the International Financial Center of Astana held the international investment forum Global Silk Road Mangystau invest 2019. Currently, in the Mangystau region, implementation of 44 investment projects in the amount of 2.4 trillion tenge is scheduled for 2019-2025, of which 18 are projects with foreign participation, totaling 2.2 trillion tenge. In 2019, it is planned to launch 22 projects in the amount of 66.7 billion tenge, 4 projects of which totaling 38.4 billion tenge, with foreign participation. In addition, there are such promising projects with the participation of foreign investors, such as the construction of a multifunctional logistics center, the construction and operation of a desalination factory, a factory for the production of caustic soda and hydrochloric acid, and construction of water desalination factory. The convenient geographical location, rich historical heritage and sights, availability of access to the sea, as well as proximity to the countries generating the main tourist flows, make it possible to develop tourism. Work has begun on the provision of engineering infrastructure for the embankment zone and for the Kuryk Port Development project.
